We had a nice week out on the east side of Islas Espiritu. It was super peaceful with great snorkeling, hiking and just hanging out together, Shannon and I. We saw some wild billy goats roaming the beach our first morning there; they were pretty cool. I shot some nice cabrilla for dinner one night, yum. All in all, we have been having a great time and things seem to have found their place on this trip. The cruising life started out kind of hard, but lately it’s been uneventful, in a good way. We decided to come back to La Paz one more time, to take care of some business that requires internet before pushing north. We won’t be back this way until after hurricane season and yes, that’s been starting to be on our minds lately, LOL. With summer here, we are starting to feel the heat of the Baja peninsula. During this time of the year it can get pretty hot. We plan on making our way north, checking out the west side of Islas Espiritu, then north to Isla Partida, where we hope to enjoy more of this adventure. We think we will make it as far north as the Bay of LA. We are already looking for spots to hold up if a hurricane decided to come our way. After hurricane season is over, late Oct/Nov, we will turn and burn, heading for the Mexican Riviera to spend the holidays and from there, who knows?
Happy Easter from Shannon and I on SV Marissa
